MJB Eagle Feather Homes, partnering with SBCA, brings you Component Technology Workshops (CTWs) – online presentations on key issues dealing with roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels and component construction. Designed for professionals in the construction industry, CTWs cover topics such as building codes, industry guidelines in the field, the principles of truss design and much more!

Many courses can qualify for continuing education credit (CEUs/PDHs); contact SBCA staff for more information about specific course qualifications.

Framing the American Dream
See how component framing saves time and money over conventional framing right before your eyes. Illustrated through two demonstration projects, this 1-hour TTW shows how wall panels, roof and floor trusses provide design freedom, flexibility, longer spans, open spaces and features simply not possible with conventional construction. The first Framing the American Dream® project compares two identical 2,600-square-foot homes constructed at the 1996 National Association of Home Builders' Show. The second Framing the American Dream® project demonstrates a series of component framed modules showcasing the benefits, features, and design possibilities of component construction. Numerous photos of real applications provide a wide array of ideas for incorporating components into future projects.
